I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and have certifications in ESL, Spanish, Reading, and English Language Arts. My academic background is complemented by doctoral work in Education with a focus on Language, Literacy, and Culture, equipping me with a deep understanding of learning processes and strategies for success across disciplines.

For over a decade, I have been teaching middle and high school students in international school settings, fostering academic excellence and confidence in diverse learners. My experience spans classroom teaching, one-on-one tutoring, and online instruction, tailoring lessons to meet the unique needs of each student. I’ve worked with students aged 11-18, focusing on building their skills in reading, writing, and test preparation, including SAT and ACT. My tutoring philosophy emphasizes active learning and engagement, integrating real-world connections and interactive strategies to make concepts accessible and memorable.
