About Kimi

All students can learn. Sometimes we need extra care to be successful. I have been teaching special needs students of all ages for over 18 years. My particular area of expertise is in teaching reading, but I enjoy teaching all subjects.

I believe in building confidence and helping students realize their potential. I think it is important to make learning meaningful.

I have worked in a K-6th setting for more than half of my career. I have taught every subject and almost every grade level. I have also taught in inclusion settings. I regularly tutor students of various ages and abilities.

I am skilled in American Sign Language and have taught in programs for the Deaf. I have more than 18 years of experience working with students with special needs.

Learning is more than facts. Learning includes problem solving and making connections. It is important to me that every child love learning. Contact me to start tutoring today!

If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
