Cornell University (Applied Math)
I've recently graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Applied Math. I've tutored many applied math subjects over the years including computer science, physics, economics, and statistics. I love answering the question "when will I use this?" The best part of tutoring is creating that "aha!" moment when everything just clicks.
My personal interests are in space and technology. I've spent the past two years helping to build the Violet Satellite. When it launches this Fall, Violet will be the most agile satellite in space. I also mentor an after-school robotics program where I teach the fundamentals of electronics, computer programming, and data analysis.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
