Knowledge is always associated with great responsibility. Here is a Tutor with a golden heart who have the constitution of an ox to explore the vast expanse of interesting fields like the intricacies of Government and Politics, American History, World History, European History, Philosophy, Public Speaking and Religion.
Excellence, Patience, Humility and Integrity are my guiding virtues. I am always ready to share whatever God-given potentials I might have in this world to mentor and to teach our students, the youth and those who are in need of our service.
My Awards and Recognition in the field of Media( both Print and Broadcast ) given by well-respected organizations, the City and County of Honolulu, the honorable Congress of the State of Hawai'i and my Alma Mater, Northwestern University can be my shield and inspiration to give meaning to the Socratic systems and methods of ascertaining the truth like a mind-stuff in the inner chamber of wisdom acquisition. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am qualified to teach public speaking for this is one of the subjects in our curriculum at the Liberal Arts department way back to my college days. I am the Program Director and the main anchor of our radio station here in Honolulu, Hawaii. I started my career as a Radio Broadcaster and Commentator in 1991 and I also served as Editor-In-Chief of various regional newspapers in the Philippines. I shared my ideas to my students when I served as College Instructor and a Tour Coordinator and Guide to visiting foreign nationals and local tourists.
Just like Bible Studies, religious exploration is an interesting matter because it is provided for by law that we have to respect each other's religion no matter what. I have some units in Theology and was the youngest and first radio announcer and commentator of a Catholic radio station in our province. As a media practitioner since 1988, I interviewed leaders of various sects and denominations manifesting beliefs in their own religion. I conducted research about the foundation of Christianity, Judaism, Mohammedanism, Buddhism, and Taoism, including Confucian Ethics and Principles.
