I've tutored students from grade school to college levels and beyond, including Calculus II and GRE test prep. Whether I am working with fellow students at Penn State's Learning Center or students at home, my passion for education comes through in my teaching methods, as I believe that all students have the ability to learn a subject as long as it is presented to them in a manner they are able to grasp. Excellent Tudor for drafting and architecture
Catherine helped me immensely with a challenging assignment for my drafting class. She is very knowledgeable and great at explaining the concepts. My session with her was very helpful and informative.

I had a tutoring session with Catherine for College Physics. Catherine was honest about the course material being beyond what she is used to tutoring for, and that she would need a little more time to go through the text. She also recommended another physicist tutor and offered to get me in touch with him. I had a few homework problems I needed clarification on and Catherine was able to work through those with me. I expressed consideration for withdrawal of the course because of how behind I am, but Catherine encouraged me to keep working through problems and try my best on the first exam before withdrawing. I will keep Catherine in mind for future tutoring in the math department.

Catherine is also talented in teaching the broader quantitative elements of math and statistics -- a great combination of skills.
