About Chris

Bio

When my students succeed, I succeed. I have tutored for over seven years and currently teach high school science. My background is in science (physical science to physics), but I also teach and tutor English and computers. Special needs students are my prized success stories, since I have strategies to overcome the challenges of ADhD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia. We can do this. You will improve under my tutelage. You will set your goals, meet and surpass them.

Just like you get stronger when you overcome adversity, so do I. Each student has different abilities. We will find yours and improve them. The subject-matter is important, but honing your skills to excel is the ultimate goal.

I also teach astronomy and a Microsoft Office course: Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. I can turn you into a wizard with these programs and give you an advantage in the workplace. My astronomy background ties into teaching physics.

This is essential to getting them to 1) see how something is done on Excel 2) letting them work on their own laptop so they can execute functions on their own. This method has been far and away the most successful.
