Emmanuel COllege (Business Management)
I am a recent college graduate and athlete of Emmanuel College. I have played basketball for 15 years and overcome many hardships until my career really took off in middle high school. I have helped with basketball camps for Woodstock High School for the past few years and I have devoted a lot of time training the college freshman this past year at my school. Success in basketball is partially due to talent but I believe it is mostly determined by effort, confidence, hustle, and a champion mentality. I am a post player and I specialize in post development. I find it very important for post players to also work on their ball handling, conditioning, and shooting, along with various post moves. Positioning is very critical for post players. I think positivity should be infused into each player; if you're not enjoying it, there's no reason to do it.
I was awarded All-American this past year and have been showcased on the leaderboard for rebounding, scoring, and blocking shots, throughout my college career. I have overcome injuries and diversities which really help me to relate on many levels. I have been a speaking captain on almost every team I have played for in the past 15 years.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am qualified for this subject because I have coached/trained on various levels, from elementary school boys and girls to high school boys and girls, to freshman college girls. Also, I have competed and excelled at the college level at Emmanuel College. I believe my personal athletic background mixed with my leadership and training history makes me a great candidate for tutoring individuals that desire to improve their basketball skill sets.
