I am a Highly Qualified Special Education Teacher, certified in grades PreK - 8. I have experience teaching Early Literacy and reading instruction to students who struggle with Dyslexia, ADHD, and poor reading comprehension. I have been trained on how to effectively implement Orton Gillingham strategies and Techniques to teach phonics and improve reading fluency and written expression skills. I believe in creating a support system for each student and making sure there is effective communication among all parties involved (parents, teachers, and coaches, mentors) to ensure the student’s success.
