About Jonathan

Hey there! I'm Jonathan! I absolutely love teaching. Before I joined the military, I was studying to be a Spanish teacher. Teaching Spanish is definitely my passion but moreover teaching in general is my passion. I graduated high school as a summa cum laude and had to learn the hard way what it meant to actually study in college. I've had my most experience learning languages. I have taught many students from English as a second language to higher level English, to math, science and social studies. I am here to help YOU and the student in any way that I can.

I have taught Spanish for 15+ years, English, and Farsi. I can help you learn to test better and teach tricks of the trade that I have learned. I'm available all day Sunday and week nights. Even if your subject isn't listed under my profile, I will work with you to help you get better at it. I can't wait to help you learn more and get an education! I have developed my own curriculum to teaching Spanish. My approach to tutoring and to teaching in general is to discover the students learning method. For example, if the student is a visual learner then I use visual aids to assist in explaining and helping the student grasp a better understanding of the concept or subject. My greatest desire is to show what's best for the student while encouraging the student and allowing learning and eduction to be an enjoyable event.

Born to teach — My daughter is almost 18 years old & is a senior in high school. She has struggled with math her whole life. We have been through about 3 tutors during her high school career, and Jonathan was able to do in 1 hour, what no other person has been able to do over months of working with her. For the first time in her life she is excited about her new found abilities in math. ...
