Hello, my name is Kyle. I am a graduate of KSU with a BS in Chemistry; this concentration along with my personal study leads to a number of higher level math courses that demand thorough knowledge of more basic maths. I tutor Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Geometry,General Chemistry and more from Elementary-Undergrad. I have engaged in purely freelance tutoring, and have worked for Atlanta Tutor Doctor as well. I'm focused on staying in tune with my clients and try to meet their specific needs. I design a new and personalized tutoring program for each and every one of my students; in whatever way you best learn the material is how we will proceed. Knowing how to tutor is more than mastering math or science, it’s about how to relate this material to other people. Analyzing people to discover their mental blocks, preferred learning methods, and style of approach is what I do best. I’m also great for you procrastinators out there with test time approaching or for someone who just wants to run back over all the material once before a test; whatever the need, I’ll ensure you improve. Kyle is a great guy. Very easy going and you can tell he knows his stuff. You can also tell he really cares about his clients. He has an excellent way of focusing in on exactly what is most important to achieve a great learning experience. I was able to come home and immediately solve the equations he helped me with. I'll very likely use him again.
My son has been resistant and discouraged about his algebra. In just 3 tutoring sessions Kyle has made him a believer. He not only had the knowledge to help him master the skill but was able to help my son to realize he could do it himself. We will be using him for the rest of the semester.
Kyle is a great tutor, my son enjoys working with him. He is a very patient person and works well with kids.
Awesome job Kyle, thank you!!
Kyle was great! I handed him a couple work sheets and homework assignments from my College Algebra class; he took me through the steps in a sensible manner and explained everything. If it didn’t make sense, he applied a different strategy until all the problems were done. I highly recommend him to anyone struggling in math!
During our tutoring session Kyle was immensely informative about the topic at hand: calculus. I would recommend him to any and every student that is struggling in any type of mathematics course! In addition, when something he explained to me did not make sense, he very generously took the time to clarify exactly what it was that he was getting at so that I could better grasp the concept. Excellent service!! 10/10.
Kyle did a wonderful job tutoring our daughter in Algebra I. She learned so much from him. We are purchasing more lessons!
I am a thirty year old individual who decided it was time to go back to school. As I researched the college placement test I realized I needed help in math. Kyle had his hands full as I had not seen any algebra etc. in over ten years but he did great job and helped me successfully pass my test. He definitely knows his math!!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I design personalized plans and approaches for students ages 12 to adults in courses ranging from Algebra and Calculus to Chemistry and Physics; I have an immaculate record. I aim to alter a student's life style, not just their class grade, when I begin to work. I try to improve upon their homework habits, study skills, method of approach and observational acuteness with tips and strategies. It's not all about working hard, but working smart as well. I guarantee I can teach study skills!
