She is classically-trained and a professional musician who specializes in piano and voice. She will teach you technicality, music theory, ear-training, artistry and improvisational skills.

She was a part of Honors Chorus and Chorale, where she was chosen to be a solo singer, accompanying the orchestra, along with receiving other solos and duets with the Chorale. She has entered Allstate competitions twice, along with being a part of the Suwanee Arts Academy Acapella Group for over two years. She’s played the piano for 13+ years, sang for 20+ years and has taught private one-on-one lessons in students' houses and online for over a year for all ages and on the Beginner and Intermediate levels. She is currently working on her ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) and MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) certifications.

Regardless of your level, experience or goals, her mission is to provide invaluable and comprehensive lessons that will help all of her future students achieve success in music for a lifetime. As a professional musician and a future member of the MTNA, her teaching method is a combination of the MTNA and ABRSM educational systems, along with the Faber method. With her incorporation of these unique schooling systems, along with her performance knowledge and experience, she is confident her students will thrive, progress and enjoy music as they never had before!

Piano

I’m a classically-trained musician and performer, currently working on (and almost done with) my ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) and MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) certifications. With several years of experience in the music industry as both a performer and private music teacher, I have developed a unique approach in musical education by combining technicality, music theory, ear-training, artistry and improvisational skills with music you love and are eager to learn. I have taught Beginner (Grades 1-3) and Intermediate (Grades 4-6) students from various ages and have watched them not only transform their musical abilities and knowledge but find themselves enjoying music more than ever before, using components through the MTNA and ABRSM system and other methods, such as the Faber Method, to create what I think is the best and most efficient way to teach piano today!

Great teacher!

Had a very good lesson. Sarah took her time to make sure my daughter understood the different parts of the song for her upcoming audition. She was patient and kind and we would most certainly use her again. She’s eager for her students to “get it”!
