I have dedicated my adult life to mastering the art public speaking and presentation skills. In my early career, I used these skills as a successful sales and marketing rep in some of America's top corporations, giving sales presentations to all levels of key decision makers in a variety of industries. Over the past 20 years, I have given hundreds of speeches and presentations and have mentored and coached both youth and adults to speaking success.
My goal is to help you to overcome your fear of public speaking and to help you to make a winning business presentation with hands-on coaching and mentoring. I can help you write and develop your speech or presentation, and will give you specific feedback on all aspects of your speaking style and delivery.
I am generally available for tutoring Mon. - Sat. from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and I can travel to meet students at a designated location. Since public speaking is something that you need to do in front of people, I recommend coaching in person vs. online. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been a member of Toastmasters International for over 20 years. I am a 2 x Distinguished Toastmaster, Toastmasters' highest honor. I have had my own professional speaking business. I am the founder and Director of Young Speakers, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching middle and high school students public speaking skills in after school classes. Past member of the GA Chapter of the National Speakers Association. Over the past 20 years, I have mentored and coached both adults and children in public speaking. I have won several speech contests, and I consider myself to an expert in art of public speaking.
