Middle Tennessee State University (Film TV Production)
My pursuit in becoming your Video/Photography tutor is founded in my career as a media production coordinator/instructor, along with my knowledge obtained as an undergraduate at Middle Tennessee State University, where I received my degree in Film/TV Media Production.
During and after college I produced, edited, and facilitated photography and post-production for the independent film, KEYED, and a BET documentary for blockbuster, Beyond The Lights, entitled, Extraordinary Love: A Town Hall Meeting. As well, I have produced, edited, and recorded commercials/ads distributed across the nation.
My matriculation helped translate the expectations of industry-standards through the creation of digital media (i.e. camera operating, producing, managing productions for film/entertainment). During college, I was blessed with the responsibility of teaching inner city youth about creating and telling stories through video production and creative writing. This teaching opportunity further sharpen my production and teaching skills through the techniques I learned.

Throughout my four years of study in Film/TV Media Production, I obtained the majority of knowledge in camera operation and lighting using a DSLR. Though my use of DSLR's was primarily founded in video, my knowledge of photography was furthermore left to increase because of my use of a photography-based camera. During the latter of my college career, and after graduation, I further explored my photography skills for weddings, local artists, small businesses, and families.
During my matriculation at Middle Tennessee State University, where I studied Film/TV Media Production, my talents also led me to photographing and editing for an independent film, as well as for a BET documentary. Opportunities such as these, along with producing and editing commercials, documentaries, etc. for small businesses, has prepared me to take what I have learned, and distribute it to other scholars. All of the productions I've worked on have also increased my knowledge in different non-linear editing softwares (i.e. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut X, etc.).
