In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I am very familiar with many learning differences and disabilities, and I look forward to working with students who truly want to progress in their learning no matter their learning difficulties. This is the group of learners that I am most trained to work with to create a functional means of designing study plans to support their learning.
I have earned a M.A. in Education, specializing in tailoring study skills to the unique learner. Each student is talented and must be instructed in a manner best suited to their specific learning needs. A young learner's best opportunity to read and retain information comes from the successful use of skills and techniques practiced at the graduate level.
