Great teacher! I haven't seen any algebra in years and with her tutoring, and teaching methods it's slowing starting to come back to me.
My first session with Deborah was great. I was a little nervous because I am so bad on computers but Deborah was very assuring and easy going and didn't mind at all taking it slow and first showing me the steps I was looking for and then having me do the same steps myself. I feel like I have already accomplished a great deal and will be seeing Deborah again next Tuesday and probably twice a week for the foreseeable future. I would recommend her to anyone who is awkward or unsure of themselves with a computer. She is also friendly and open and shared some of her educational goals and ideas with me as I shared mine with her. I am looking forward to our next lesson since the first one proved to be so productive. In conclusion, Deborah is great.
Jan.27/15 Deborah continues to be a great help, I could not handle any of the things I am trying to do right now without her. I have already made great in roads in things I didn't even know my computer could do.
My lesson today was very informative. Deborah has a very good way of explaining things in much simpler terms. I understood them much better that way. She made me very comfortable, because I was very nervous.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I recently graduated from Savannah Technical College with a certification in PC Repair & Network Technician. I have had experience with Macs since elementary school, because I went to a computer magnet elementary school. My most recent Mac experience has been with iPad, iPhone4s, iPod, and Macs at Armstrong Atlantic State University, where I had to utilize a Mac desktop for MS Office as well as the Adobe Suite, Safari, iTunes, App Store, and Mozilla Firefox. I feel very confident in my ability to tutor someone on the basics of Macs, and how to become better acquainted with them.
I have over 10 years experience with microsoft office
