Dear student or parent,
I am a professional academic tutor with 20+ years of experience tutoring most subjects at the high school, college and graduate school levels. These include most

* Math courses including algebra, geometry and pre-calc, calculus, linear and coordinate math, statistics differential equations and computer modeling and more.
* Science courses including biology, chemistry, physics, organic chemistry, biochemistry, physics, astronomy, genetics and more.
* Business courses including accounting, finance, marketing and economics and more.

I tutor a wide range of computer courses and have a great deal of experience with online courses and working with students both one-on-one in person and remotely via phone, email, social media and Skype. Increasingly students are taking courses online, and I have at this point several years of experience with helping students through the sometimes unique challenges of online courses and test taking.

I think of tutoring and the tutoring experience on many levels - from mastery of the material and targeting the teaching to the needs of the individual student and the specific styles of their teachers, to gearing what I do to unique learning styles of each student to having a big-picture perspective on not only how to survive homework, a quiz, exam and the course, but on the wider needs and goals of each student.

Please contact me to discuss. I can help and I'm happy to work with you asap.

QuickBooks,

QuickBooks

I've been a user of QuickBooks since the old Quicken software from 1994. I've been a regular user of all versions of QB since, both for myself and for a wide variety of clients helping them to setup and manage basic bookkeeping tasks for small and medium sized companies, and migrating them to small business accounting packages and in some cases mid-market accounting and enterprise ERP systems. I ran a retail business for several years using the QB Point of Sale (POS) system which integrates with QB including interfacing with credit card processing and setup of multi-terminal systems and determining how best to setup and design basic inventory and reporting structures. I have worked with many clients on these and increasingly on advising clients on business decisions for newer, mobile-friendly and POS credit card processing platforms and applications. I have tutored many accounting and business courses including financial and managerial accounting and have years of experience with hands-on, real-world business practices and best procedures.

Great for my son who didn't want a tutor

Ned quickly established a trusting rapport with my 11th grade son who does not want to ask anyone for help. I was concerned that he would go once and not want to go back, but after the first session he was engaged and trying to figure out a good weekly schedule. Ned makes my son feel at ease, treats him like an adult and helps him break down his Calculus problems into terms he can understand. He also spends additional time when needed to help cement that understanding. It's been a very good experience so far!
