A double major in theater and general music at Northwestern but took many various AP classes in high school and have taken linguistics, philosophy, and mythology classes so far at university. Received many state wide awards in music such as All State Choir and All State Sight Reading Choir all four years of high school, received Best Actor in the region in 2017 at the One-Act Play Competition. Have only tutored in accelerated pre-calculus, AP Calculus AB, and AP Music Theory but wish to tutor more in various areas! I love to teach little kids, as I used to do for many years at a local church every Sunday, and I also relate to high schoolers and their struggle in advanced academia. I am a VERY good listener and make sure to clarify every question asked so that I can give a full and enriching answer that each individual student can understand. I am energetic and flexible with schedule. I have a fully working car and am willing to travel; I also have a laptop to tutor online. Not only can I help students in their various subjects, I can give them tools that they can use in other subjects as well, a way to tackle problems in the general sense.

I have a fascination for music and an urge to share this fascination with others. I received a 5 on the AP Music Theory exam and have been apart of a leadership role in chorus for four years of high school. I currently study piano and am in choir at university, which has helped me to tackle a large amount of music very quickly. I have taught students music theory before and aware of its daunting mathematics, but I believe I can clearly explain how the voice and the ear can work together in harmony, no pun intended.

My mother is a yoga teacher and has taught me basic yoga skills. When I went off to college, I took a theater class called Voice For Performance where I learned the mentality behind daily yoga and how to perfor
