For Special Needs:
My younger brother has autism, so I have hands-on experience with working with special needs kids. I also interned and volunteer at a company called Lekotek of Georgia for the last 5 years, where I worked with children with a broad spectrum of disabilities from cystic fibrosis to microcephaly. I also have interned at Emory Autism Center where I worked with Adults on the autism spectrum. (More details on this in my "Qualifications" section) . I absolutely love working with people with special needs and plan on doing it for the rest of my life. I would love to spend time with and help your child.
For Math Students:
I went to a very competitive STEM High School and took classes that most Math Majors don't take until their second year of college. I can tutor up to Calculus II. Math is one of my favorite subjects and I hope to help you succeed in improving your math scores. I do have experience tutoring from grades K-12. I absolutely love teaching and will hopefully be a good fit for you.
In High School, I took Math courses that most math majors don't take until their second year of college . I have experience tutoring students in Algebra to Calculus II. My father also teaches for a living, so I've seen great techniques he uses to help his students.
For the last five years, I have volunteered and interned at a company called Lekotek of Georgia. Their motto was "learning through play," so I learned how to help children with disabilities socialize and practice basic motor skills using adaptable toys along with helping them learn through certain software and apps.
I have also interned at Emory Autism Center. I worked with adults who participated in the myLife program. The goal of this program was to help adults with autism learn independent living skills so that they could function on their own in the real world.
I have been practicing sign language for the last four years.
I have also shadowed ABA therapists for years and have learned a lot through that experience.
Through these opportunities, I have been taught by occupational therapists, speech pathologists, ABA therapists...the list goes on. I would love to use these experiences to help your child and have fun with them in the process.
The first 30 minutes of my services are free, so that I can get to know your child and for you to see if I am the right fit for your needs. I hope you will consider me. If you are interested, please call me through WyzAnt or send a message. For Special Needs:

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
