I was a federal, state and local government Geographer and communications specialist for 15 years. I have traveled extensively and round the world and in this country as a Geographer. I understand my subjects and how to educate others in those subjects. Geography, writing, and public speaking have been my life. Let me share my experience, insights, and knowledge with you. I am a tutor and a mentor.
I have presented projects for large federal, state and local governments to audiences as large as 400 persons. I have presented key note subjects at several GIS symposiums.
I have a B.S. in Geographical Information Processing and have worked with ESRI products producing maps and reports with both ESRI and Microsoft word. Word is my preferred software that I used for my B.S., my Masters degree and my PhD courses.
I also have many years of working with GPS collection equipment in the field. My Masters degree is a geographic based education with science. Sociology and some physics mixed together.
I have a minor in Communications from Western Michigan University.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a minor in Communications. I have taken several classes in film. Film interpretation and film as a view popular culture expression. I am familiar with films from the silent Era into the studio years and into the start of the contract system and beyond. Film is a microcosm of the human experience with transcends the boundaries of our imaginations and limitations. It is through the expression of film that the human race with be studies l9ng into the future. Film is what we will leave behind as a testimony of our spirit, our false and our biological urge to continue existing.
I have worked in the field of GIS since my undergrad studies. I worked for FEMA, us the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Georgia state, Alabama state as a GIS tech, analyst and senior GIS manager. I also have a Master's in a GIS field. Many of my courses had a teaching component in the syllabus.
