I am a highly-qualified state certified teacher. I have taught for four years in a public school setting and am now looking to extend my skills into private tutoring. I was a Science major at the University of Georgia, then decided I wanted to teach and received my teaching certificate. Recently, I finished my Master's degree in Education. I look forward to using my classroom skills and enthusiasm to assist students on an individual basis.

Since my son has been working with Kara, his grade in Math has changed from Failing to a B! We are very pleased with how well she works with him.
My daughter stated that she really liked Kara and she explained things in such a way that Hannah was able to understand and comprehend. Will definitely be using her again and recommending her to others.
From what my student told me, the lessons are going very well and he is satisfied. Hopefully he will be able to take the GED exam soon.
I needed an Algebra I tutor for my son during the summertime and looked everywhere for a quality tutor. Kara turned out to be the perfect match for my son, not only for her qualified background, but because she was attentive to his needs and was easy to work with. I would highly recommend her!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
