I am a current employee at Georgia State University. I am a former JUCO All-American and Division 1 athlete. I began my collegiate career at Miami Dade College and finished my career at Georgia State University. In addition to playing division 1 basketball, I also coached women's basketball at Georgia State University while I was working towards earning my Master's degree in Sports Administration.
As part of my personal mission, I would like to give back to my community by providing private/semi-private basketball lessons for boys and girls in the 5th-11th grade. My basketball philosophy consist of learning the fundamentals of the sport. Once a players knows the basic fundamentals of basketball, it will make playing the game easier.
Each basketball session will focus on player development such as shooting fundamentals, offensive moves (post or perimeter), rebounding, defensive drills and most importantly footwork. If you are player that is in need of assistance with developing/enhancing your basketball skills or who is in need of a new hobby please do not hesitate to contact me. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
