CHAMINADE UNIV OF HONOLULU (Elementary Education)
Capella University (Enrolled)
In December, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Psychology, and received a state of Hawaii teaching license. In addition, I have over 120 hours of observation and participation in several classrooms.
I recently completed my student teaching requirements at Red Oak Elementary in Henry County in a third grade classroom. In addition, I have volunteered at several daycare centers in the Atlanta area as an afterschool teacher.
Because of my desire to make a difference and to provide children with an excellent education, I have made the decision to further my education. On February 4th, I will begin coursework towards my master's degree in Psychology with a specialization in Child and Adolescent development through Capella University online.
I enjoy listening to music, reading, and getting my hands messy in arts and crafts.
Because of my experiences, I am very confident that I will be a valuable asset to you and your family. If you believe that my background would be beneficial to you and your family, then I would like to meet you for further discussion. Thank you so much for consideration and time, and I look forward to speaking with you. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
