Career in technology- technical writing and programming. Math and language arts achiever all my life, since childhood.

I began tutoring in college for a program through Georgia Tech's CEISMC (Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics and Computing) which partnered college students with at risk schools to mentor and tutor children needing help in math and reading comprehension. Tutored Elementary Math and Reading/LA grades 2-3.

I then worked part-time post-graduation as a freelance tutor for 3rd graders needing to pass the Ga state CRTC exam, middle school students in algebra, high school students in linear algebra, as well as college students up to graduate level in basic computer programming concepts.

As a computer science major, I have taken and passed all kinds of math from calculus I - III, statistics, to linear algebra, discrete and combinatorial mathematics, to numerical analysis (interpolating functions). I enjoy tutoring elementary school students in math most of all, as well as Reading/LA and do so with my grade schooler every day. He has ADHD and has been reading since 4. He read on a 3rd grade level by Kindergarten and is considered gifted with high ranking test scores.

I have helped children with testing anxiety pass the 3rd grade CRCT exam with mentoring and tutoring and have been complimented by parents as having a creative and engaging teaching style which makes kids excited to learn. Children of teachers have seen me at work and said "mom, I want HER to be my tutor."

I'm excited to help your child with their learning. Please contact me so I can give you the confidence, tools, and tricks you need to excel.

I am a computer science graduate and a software developer by trade for a little over a decade. I continue to code freelance and contractually. I have coded in java in the past, C a great deal in the past, and in a proprietary system language for the past 10 years called Symitar for banking professionals, which is a lot like C. I still have every book from college because I actually enjoy re-reading them and applying concepts as often as I can. Some complain that once you leave school, it's no longer useful, but this area of expertise is one where you actually get to use in real life what you learned in school to your advantage.

I am a software developer by trade and acquired a senior title role back in 2014. I continue to code contractually. I have coded in java in the past, C a great deal in the past, and in a proprietary system language for the past 10 years called Symitar for credit union banking systems. I have taken and passed required courses in logic in college and apply them to coding principles regularly.
