I am Donovan G., and I am a graduate from Georgia State University. I have a degree in Actuarial Science and a degree in Finance. These two degrees have given me the knowledge of all types of math such as: Calculus I & II, Statistics, Algebra I & II, Multivariate Calculus, Arithmetic, etc. During my college years, I decided to also take a course that would certify me to teach elementary math and science. I created lesson plans for K-5 in order to help them learn in a fun manner. Seeing the kids having fun while learning made it a pleasurable course. Yes! Learning math is fun! I would teach a classroom of about 15-20 students while being monitored by their regular teacher. If a student needed one on one time, I would make sure they get it. This program lasted a whole year, and it was worth it.

I also tutored college students in the "Math Lab" at GSU. Tutoring feels great when I am able to further explain subject matter and help obtain better results. I can tutor one on one or in a group setting whichever allows the student to perform better. I will never give the student the right answer. They will have to earn it. Seeing the confidence grow in someone because they simply "get it" is amazing.
