Bio

I have my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I have just started my second year teaching Special Needs Kindergarten in the Cobb County School District. I love my job because each day is a new day to have an opportunity to teach and learn new things.

Before I took my current job I ran my own preschool with 150 children in it. I wrote the curriculum for all the classes and helped direct an after school program. I also taught two years of Georgia Pre-k as well. I really...

I really enjoy being around children and helping them strive to their full potential!

I am very familiar with Common core and know what is required to help a child succeed in this area.

Since I teach special needs I have several Grammer/phonics resources that can be used as additional supplements depending on the need of the student.

I have had trainings on Common Core so I know what is expected of the students and I have learned various ways to get a student to understand based on the Common Core expectations.

I am certified to teach K-5 and take classes on a regular basis in order to keep my certification current.

I have several added resources that can be incorporated based on the needs of the student.

I look forward to helping anyone I can. I am very flexible and will work with the student in a way that caters to their learning style, making it fun and inviting!
