Jeff worked with my son on his AP Calculus BC class after he had failed 2 tests. My son ended up getting an A both semesters and getting a 5 on the AP test. Jeff was great to work with and always tried to be flexible for my son's schedule.
Taught Calculus II. He gave insight and clues on how to simplify the technique in solving problems within the subject. His one-on-one session was very personal and tailored to my son's needs.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a MA in Mathematics from the University of Delaware. One of the areas in which I passed the written qualifiers (for the PhD program) was Ordinary Diff Eq.
I have tutored Diff Eq in the past.
