Energetic and highly motivated tutor/educator who enjoys learning and helping students learn.
My motivation is my students. Educational leadership is the key to unlocking the door of opportunity. I teach part-time at a local college and tutor part-time, K-12 students. I constantly instill in my students the necessity of being aware and knowledgeable about the world in which we live. I teach various subjects in the business studies curriculum. Business management is an area that pertains to all facets of daily life including time management, budgeting and communication.
I know that I've taught successfully when my students raise their hands with enthusiasm to answer questions that I've posed or volunteer to be team captains on class room team assignments because they are eager to share the knowledge they've acquired from my lecture and text materials in class. Additionally, I've had the pleasure of encountering past students who are elated to see me and are excited to share with me that they loved my classes or state that our one-on-one tutoring sessions helped them successfully pass a class. These are the moments to live for!

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
