I am an individual that has always cared about the progression of our youth and I am always striving to educate, enhance and encourage individuals to become productive in today's society. I have had the opportunity to coach and counsel individuals by embracing their "gifts" to help find their place in this world. I find it very important to access and listen to the needs of the individual and prepare an IPP (Individual Program Plan) on how to embrace the successes effectively.
While providing "tough love" and guidance, I help identify strengths and weaknesses which cultivate a persons positive attributes. I am a firm believer in the knowledge that everyone deserves a chance regardless of their demographics, physical challenges, or disciplinary struggles.
Your honesty with me will allow me to assist you properly for positive and effective growth. My motto is: "When you know, then you can grow!"
Dear potential students:
I began tutoring and assisting special needs students as an early elective while in high school. I also held accreditations with the Kentucky Governor School for the Arts in vocal music. While attending college on partial music scholarship I continued to tutor students on the side with Math (2nd-7th grade), Spelling, English, Basic Computer skills, Music Theory, Vocal performance and coaching.
I later obtained an Associate's degree in Applied Computer Science from a Technical school. My intentions are to help you achieve success academically by following your school curriculum and preparing exercises to put you "ahead of the class". This may be difficult at first, but I will assist you through this matter. I look forward to working with you in the near future.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have earned an Associates degree in Computer Software Applications. I also have worked as a Technical Support Specialist and Helpdesk Technician in my professional career. I am able to mentor adolescents and adults in the functionality of Microsoft Word.
