University of Georgia School of Law (J.D.)
Hi! I am a Georgia Bar-admitted law school graduate who has lived and studied in Japan. During my Junior year of undergraduate studies, I lived in Kyoto and attended the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies. All of my instruction, save one class, was entirely in Japanese. I was there for almost a year and learned a lot about both the Japanese language and culture. Having gone through beginning studies both in the States and in Japan, I am confident in tutoring brand-new to beginner-level students of Japanese.
Also, a few years after I obtained my major in International Business with a minor in Japanese, I then decided to attend law school. I studied for the LSAT using a primarily self-taught method: one commercialized LSAT book supplemented with many practice tests from former LSAT exams. I scored a 169 on the LSAT. I have also taken and passed the Georgia Bar exam, July 2013, and I opened my own law firm in 2014. I would work well with someone who needs guidance on LSAT strategies and who wants to figure out a study-scheme that works for them personally, not one of the commercialized one-size-fits-all prep courses.
If you think we can work together, I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you very much for your time. Hi! I am a Georgia Bar-admitted law school graduate who has lived and studied in Japan. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
