I have a Ph.D degree in Physics from an accredited University in India. After attaining my Ph.D degree, I worked as a physics lecturer for three years at a post graduate institute, affiliated to an accredited university in India. I taught science courses like Mathematical Physics, Electromagnetic Theory, Digital Circuits, Electronic Circuits.
As much as I enjoyed teaching future generation with core science values, I also was partly responsible for the academic success of the institution that I worked with.
Then I moved to the United states and worked as a post doctoral fellow for 3 years and then for 6 years as research Associate at University of Pennsylvania. Taking a lead role in the NIH funded research projects, I have had some scientific and technological breakthroughs in the development of an MRI technique to investigate the effects of hypomineralization and recovery effects of cortical bone in a rabbit model of osteomalacia and a rat model of postmenopausal osteoporosis using UTE MR imaging.
This collaboration has led to several peer reviewed articles in accredited scientific journals and poster presentations at international conferences.
I later moved to Georgia in 2009 and worked as a research associate at Emory University for about a year and half. All through, I was a strong believer that academic excellence at school level is a foundation for a successful career in future. I also consider motivating and teaching children as an exciting opportunity to contribute to their future as well as to the success of the teaching institution. I believe my experiences and commitment to academics/teaching would help me achieve this.
As an experienced user of both IBM-compatible and Apple computers, I am well-versed in the use of PowerPoint, the entire Microsoft Office suite of software and mathematical analysis software for analysis of research data. My experience also includes preparing technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
Please feel free to contact me if you require any additional information. Finally I am a US citizen and am authorized to work for any employer.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
