Georgia Gwinnett College
Hello my name is Tysheen, but I always give people the option of calling me Ty or Sheen. Even though I am 20 I have over 4 years of teaching experience. When tutoring I often start off by seeing what you have figured out and go on from their; I am very patient, calm, and easy to approach. While in High School I worked as a student teacher for 5th grade, 4th grade, and kindergarten; I also helped my mother through her college algebra courses. When I moved unto my college years my first year was spent as a student teacher for the UTCH program. In this program I taught 6th and 7th grade both of which focused on mathematics. I created class rubrics and lesson plans to prepare for the students over a span of 8 weeks. I am well known for producing positive results out of any child or adult.
Aside from education I love the fine arts, music, sports, and movies. I played tennis for over ten years, and football for three. I listen to all genres of music and often stay up late finding new songs I've never heard before.
I absolutely love math and believe there is always more than one way to figure out a problem. Just like in life. I know what it feels like to cry be upset over a problem or subject because I used to be that guy. But was taught patiently and always shown a unique reason and way to learn something.
To me patience and having a fun and active mind always come into key when teaching elementary students. I know how and have a history of keeping lessons very fun, and amusing for students. Because for some strange reason students always seem to remember something that super funny or exciting.
I know what it takes to be not only good but very successful. I have over ten years of tennis experience with three of those years coaching and teaching people that has never touched a racket how to play. With football I've played for three but have a very deep understanding and love for the game, and in particular the quarterback and safety position.
I hope you are ready to be successful, because I am ready to teach you. One of the most important things I learned about life is to never be afraid to ask questions. No one is the same, but everyone deserves the same reward. The only thing stopping everyone from getting it is the amount of work they are willing to do and help they are willing to find. But here I am; the person willing to work with you and help you receive that reward. I hope to hear from you soon. During my High School years I was an A student when it came to Algebra. I spent many hours after school and even some minutes during class tutoring my fellow class mates. Even now while I'm in college I spend time tutoring college level algebra.
I have well over three years of football experience and a year and a half of coaching experience. While working as a camp counselor I taught over one-hundred kids the basic fundamental on how to be successful while playing the sport. I specialized in teaching both safety and the quarterback position.
I have over ten years of paying experience and three years of coaching and teaching. I played the sport in high school and one many rewards and trophies over my years of playing it. I have taught many people that have never touched a tennis racket how to not only play but win.
