About DAVID

I specialize in tutoring Anatomy, Physiology, Math, Chemistry, and ESL. I'm a member of the National Tutoring Association. My tutoring sessions are focused and encouraging. My goal is to provide students with critical thinking and organizational skills that will help them succeed beyond the scope of a specific subject. I have a passion for teaching / tutoring and I'm convinced that encouragement is a vital key to success.

I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Green Bay Packer fan that makes me a cheese-head. I have over 25 years of teaching / tutoring experience. My personal educational journey has provided me with numerous opportunities to master the art of tutoring. I earned my BS degree from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, OK and my MD degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School, Madison, WI. I then went on to complete two residencies, the first in General Surgery (University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences) and the second in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio). After I finally completed my medical training I worked as an attending physician for the Guthrie Clinic in Corning, NY. My practice focused on the reconstructive aspect of Plastic Surgery and Advanced Wound Care. I have retired from medicine and am currently an online adjunct faculty member with South University where I teach Anatomy and Physiology I and II (lecture and lab) and Human Pathophysiology.

I am here to help and encourage. So, don't hesitate to contact me for an encouraging tutorial experience.

If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Exactly what we needed...

Dr David is great! My 8th grader had been struggling with algebra all year and I knew it was because he wasn't getting enough one on one time to have the concepts explained to him in detail. Dr David did just that, and in an understanding, caring way that my son really appreciated. We will definitely be seeing David on a regular basis for the rest of the school year just to help fill in the gaps f
