Augusta Technical College (Media Communication)
Welcome, my name is Robert. I am a graduate of Augusta Technical College for my Associate's Degree in Media Communication. When I was younger, I always wanted to be an animator until I found a little mix within graphic and web design. I realized that graphics and web design was a good fit for me. Even after graduating, I continue to self-study online. My attention is presently more in the coding part. It is very important to understand some coding with web design if you want to snag a job these days. As I continue to learn what I can with several programming languages, I feel that I am neglecting my design side more each day. I never officially tutored anyone through any program; yet, I used to assist my teachers and friends in class and enjoyed it. I am a very determined, honest person that likes to see people succeed. If I don't know the answer, I will let you know and find the answer. If I do, I will do my best to communicate it to you, whether it is visually or verbally. I have done freelancing works in the past when able. Ask me any question you like. My portfolio is available upon request. Thank you for your time.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I currently use this program to set the layout for my clients' books. Since Indesign is best for placement of spreadsheets, book pages, and catalogs, this program isn't a program I gravitate to most of the time: only when needed. I had training in it when I was in college using Adobe CS4.
Although I use Adobe Design Suite CS4 on my computer, I feel very comfortable in most of these programs. I studied Actionscript from time to time for it. I also have plenty of resources from my studies. My strength now is Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver. I would say Indesign because I made a book using Indesign this year for a client and am soon to do another. I use Fireworks for prototyping as it should.
When I was in college, I took three HTML classes. I studied it online too. There are several websites I designed using HTML. The text editors I use for it are Notepad++ and Dreamweaver.
Powerpoint has always been simple to learn since High School. It hasn't changed much. It was fun then and fun with easy usability today.
