I began shooting still photography at the age of twelve years old (over 40 years ago) while working with my father who owned his own studio and lab in Atlanta by day and was a musician by night. I actually started working with sound production much earlier as young as a toddler! Sound and photography has been a part of my in some form as long as I can recall. I also started shooting video as a Sophomore in High School back in the 1970's.
What I do for work: I produce live video events such as sports, theater and music. I am also a fine art photographer where my work has been shown and sold in Art Galleries. On occasion I will shoot head-shots, products for advertising, travel and portraits but Mostly Fine art such as wildlife, landscapes and city scapes. I also provide sound mixing services for events and rent A/V gear.
I have been told by gallery owners that I have an "EYE" for photography... actually you need two for this type of work! With video, my DVD's sell that I produce!!!! My marketing videos get attention and I make people happy with my results because my photos sell!
I have been told I have perfect pitch and that I can hear what others can't! I am a perfectionist when it comes to sound production and I am also an "OLD" DJ!
I encourage you to call me for a consult! I do things different from others because I enjoy helping people learn and I have also helped them earn money from what they learn if that is your goal! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
