For the past three years, I have been working with students that are struggling with grade level standards. I provide specialized instruction in math, writing and reading in order to help my students close the academic gap. I believe that all children learn in different ways and that it is imperative to discover the learning style of all of my students in order to provide them with differentiated instruction that will benefit them the most. I use a specialized reading program for young children that teaches phonics in a fun, interesting way. Fortunately, I have had great success with all of my students! For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
