My name is Jerry,
I have been a special education teacher for twenty years. I started my special education teaching with moderate intellectual disabled students. After that I went back to school to study how I would be able to help all areas of special need students. I graduated in 1995 with T5 certification in Mental retardation now known as mildly intellectual disabled student. Five years after that, I went back to school to add on another certification in interrelated special education. Since then, I have been teaching continuously. At present, I am teaching young adults with emotional behavior disorder, specific learning disabilities and mildly intellectual disabilities.
My educational qualifications are Bachelor, Master, and T6 level certification in education leadership. Presently, I am working on a Doctoral dissertation in education curriculum and instruction. I am married with five children. I am interested in this job because of my experience with special need students. In my twenty years of teaching, I have been able to educate several special needs or students with disabilities. I am planning to retire very soon, and I will do my best if you consider me in your coaching job.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
