About Christy

Bio

A former math, reading, language arts, and social studies teacher, I taught from Pre-K through college. I have taught in both public schools and private schools. I taught online college courses for Axia College. In addition, I have served as a full time Educational Consultant and have published an online educational module for teachers. Although I no longer teach in a school setting, teaching is my passion! I enjoy helping others achieve their dreams through education.

Knowledgeable, kind, and patient tutor!

Christy is wonderful...she has worked time & time again with our ever changing schedule. My daughter is much better prepared and confident going into tests, and I am confident that her scores are significantly higher than they would have been without Christy's tutoring.

Awesome, flexible, connects well with students

I have a 10th grader that needed help with Honors Lit & Geometry. Christy has been able to connect well with him, and show him how to approach both subjects from a different perspective or process. This has allowed him to complete assignments on time and with better grades. Christy is responsive and flexible with times. She is very honest & articulate in her communication. I'll continue to use her not only for my son, but also his brother & sister as needed, for as long as she is available.
