I never thought that I could feel as fulfilled as I do when I help a student learn more about the arts. I started out as a musician and songwriter, and took that artistic passion to the art of video production and filmmaking. My industry experience began with working as a videojournalist for TV News stations in Georgia and Florida. I later moved back to Georgia where I currently work as a Multi-Media Technician/instructor at a small state university, as well as being a freelance videographer/photographer.
I specialize in video production, which includes writing, shooting , and editing. I have experience using both high-end video cameras, and DSLR for still and motion pictures. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
