I am available for tutoring or after school study sessions for students in grades 3-8. Summer sessions and camps signups also available for remediation of previous grade material and enrichment (next grade level).

With over five years of tutoring experience, I am able to offer successful strategies to help students obtain better grades and success in the classroom. My ongoing educational development as continue my career as an educator. I hold a Masters and am certified in Early Childhood education (P-5) and in math and science (P-8) . Currently working as a fifth grade math teacher which has helped strengthen my ability to assess learning styles and adapt instruction to meet specific needs.

Each session that I provide is adapted to meet the student's learning style and allows for the development of an instructional plan uniquely suited for each individual. Studies have shown that mastery of time management skills and effective note-taking are essential to success in school. These are also the areas of focus which I find very helpful in educational development and incorporate into my student tutoring sessions to achieve successful outcomes.

I am currently entering the second year of my graduate program, and seeking certification in early childhood education from Mercer University. Through hard work and dedication, organization and determination, I have managed to maintain a 4.0 grade point average in addition to working as the 5th grade Title I Instructional assistant at a local elementary school, and coaching a youth football team. I use my tutoring opportunities to further develop the method that I learn from class work and being in the school setting. With I focus on the common core initiative I have developed great supplemental lesson for children from 3 to 8th grade and will continue to build my overall knowledge base in the field.
