About Hassan

I got a master in Cell Biology from the University of Paris VI in 1990, then PhD in integrative Biology from the University of Paris XI with the highest honors (1995). All these studies were performed in French language. I was trained as postdoc in the department of Cellular and Molecular Pathology at the University of Birmingham Alabama.

In 2002 I moved to the University of South Alabama in the department of Physiology as Research Associate II then Instructor. I was managing research laboratory, training undergraduate students, supervising personnel and instructing Physiology. In 2013, I was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the department of Anesthesiology (Augusta University). I was engaged in research as co-investigator and collaboration with many faculties.

Since I possess multi-cultural background and retain an open-minded personality, I strive to be friendly and convivial, whether I am interacting with students, postdocs or collaborating with faculties from different departments. During my career, I trained and mentored many undergraduate and graduate students, as well as postdocs.

As postdoc in the department of Pathology (University of Alabama in Birmingham), Research Associate, then Instructor in the department of Physiology (University of South Alabama), I acquired strong background in biological sciences, specifically cellular and molecular biology. In addition, I possess wide knowledge in many scientific disciplines including physiology, pathology, biochemistry, cancer, ecology, geology,…etc. For instance, I was instructing an introduction to physiology (2006-2012) to bachelor students eager to integrate Medical School at the University of South Alabama.

By tutoring, I love to help students achieve their potential and academic success. I consider tutoring as another way to improve education through more rigorous standards. I do my best to help students challenge themselves. I open large areas of discussion beyond achieving student academic goals to encompass possible professional opportunities available in the job market.

I speak fluently Arabic, French, English, and Spanish at beginner level. I have a experience in tutoring French and Arabic.

Maturity, Integrity, and professionalism.
