Georgia Southern Unversity (International Studie)
I am a sophomore college student at Georgia Southern University. I am majoring in International Studies with a minor in Spanish.
I graduated in three years from a high school in Florida in the top 10% of my class. I was a part of the theatre program at my school but also enjoy baseball, basketball, and football.
At Georgia Southern I am a part of the Women's Ultimate Frisbee team, in the Honors program, and part of Southern leaders which is a leadership program on campus.
I have many years of experience tutoring other students around my age in a wide variety of subjects. My main focus areas are high school math (algebra 1 thru algebra 2) as well as all history and government classes. I have done dual enrollment and AP courses and have passed all of them. I also have experience with the ACT.
I have taken all math courses and have had an A average in them. They were all honor courses except precalculus and trigonometry which was at the college level. Also I got a 30 on the math section of the ACT. I have tutored classmates before and they saw major increases in their grades with just a little bit of prep and review.
Since I am a college student I'm keeping all my tutoring to an online basis, but that means I will take any students not just ones in the area to help with math and Social Studies. Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you soon. Please contact me with any questions or concerns. I am a sophomore college student at Georgia Southern University. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I took AP U.S. History and got A's both semesters and got a 4 on the AP test.
