BA - Rowan University (Psychology)
One of the things that I love about photography is that I am always learning and there are always new ways to explore and look at subjects differently. I love to share my knowledge and help people grow in their understanding and expertise in this fabulous creative medium.
My lifelong passion for photography began in the days of film photography while processing and developing images in the darkroom. Initially I was self-taught, and went on to apprentice with several professional studios specializing in weddings and portraits, as well as commercial photography. Soon I established his own client base in these areas during his early career.
When life led me down the path of a corporate business career, photography continued as a much-loved hobby. After raising a daughter and becoming a grandfather, life has come full circle and the natural evolution for me returning to the art of creating images and portrait photography.
I am a member of Professional Photographers’ Association (PPA) and the Georgia Professional Photographers Association (GPPA) where in I network with other skilled professional photographers and keep current with techniques, technology and trends through seminars given by renowned masters of photography.
I was trained in the days of film and worked with different format cameras including 35mm, medium format, and 4x5 view cameras. I understand the creative, and technical aspects of my craft and have over ten years experience as a full time professional photographer.
My experience includes teaching in grammar school a corporate trainer. If you would like to work with me, we will discuss your goals, and develop a plan to achieve them. I am a strong believer in a hands on practical approach.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
