I have been teaching in schools and colleges and offering private lessons for last few years in Columbus. I teach all maths, prepare students for ACT, SAT and PSAT tests. I also teach chemistry, physics and physical science. I taught dual enrollment chemistry and physics at Glenwood School lat year. I now teach at an area academy and at an educational service in Columbus. I also teach chemistry & biochemistry at Central GA Technical College in Macon. My students do very well in their tests and exams after following my instructions. Their understanding of the subject improve significantly. Basically, I try to understand and find out the difficulties they have in comprehending the subject matter, reach up to their level and move them up on their knowledge with proper examples and explanations. I always make sure that they have a thorough understanding of one section/chapter before we move on to the next. All my students do very well and several of my high school students made it to Auburn, UGA, CSU and to other reputed colleges. In fact, one CSU student I tutored Physics last year, was very week when she started taking lessons on Light with me. After about 8 weeks she improved significantly and successfully passed all her exams.
I tutored personally my twins - son and daughter. Both of them are now juniors at MIT. I take special care of my students. Their success is always in my mind and also it is a big motivating factor for my own success in teaching.
I am now teaching evening classes at Central GA Technical College in Macon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am available in Macon area from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM for tutoring. He helped my daughter understand the basics of some math prom. Hopefully, she will get better with his help. I can tell he will help her a lot and she is excited.
Dr.C was an awesome help. We went over my first assignment in physics, which I was completely lost in prior to our session. I was able to solve complex problems by myself after our session. I look forward to future sessions with Dr. C and I'm more than confident with his help, I will be very successful in this class. I highly recommend him if you need help with and science/math.
Dr.Probir did an excellent job preparing me from the math portion of the asvab. He is very knowledgeable and takes pride in making sure you no the material.
My son is very comfortable with this tutor. My son gets confused with algebra terms and concepts, but has been very successful in class with help from this tutor. Not only does he prepare my son to be successful in class, he is working with him to understand concepts he has forgotten from Algebra 1 and teaching him calculator skills so he is able to graph functions. I really appreciate the tutor's flexibility to work around school events, family trips, and exam schedules.
Dr. C. represents an exceptional tutor with rapid results. When my 15 year old started Geometry/Trig lessons with Dr. C. just three short weeks ago, he had an F (63 average in math class) in high school. Now a short three weeks later, after twice a week tutoring sessions with Dr. C., my son has an 86 average in the same math class. Dr. C.'s excellent tutoring has propelled my son from an F to a B in three short weeks. I can not recommend Dr. C. any higher, and I thank him for his expertise, knowledge and teaching ability!
Very concerned about your child being successful. He will ensure he provides whatever resources your child needs for assistance. Willing to work with your schedule.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been teaching ACT Math and Science for last 15 years. My twins have successfully graduated from MIT. My son is now in the PhD program at MIT Media LAb and my daughter is completing her double Masters in Technology and Policy Planning at MIT. I prepared them for the ACT. I use my own special techniques which helps all students particularly, struggling ones. I put all my efforts in order to evaluate their current level of understanding Math in general and ACT math in particular. ACT is a very different test. No matter how much you know, to score better, students need to follow some guidelines. My advice works all the time. A few months ago, one of my High School ACT students improved his ACT Math score from 19 to 26 in a short time. His Science score also went up. I think, I can make a difference in all my students who are planning to take ACT Test.
I have been helping students in their need for all the sections in ACT and SAT. All of my students so far, have had improved scores in Reading and English. Over the years, I tutored over 40 students who took their ACT and SAT tests in 10th, 11th and 12th grades. I also helped my son and daughter (twins) when they were in high school. They did very well and are now seniors in college. I take special care of all my students. I find out each ones' understanding level build them up from there. I have an innovative way of tutoring and every student I teach, responds to my method very well.
I have been teaching high school math for last 20 years now. I have tutored over 100 high school students during that span and all of them have done well in their classes as well as, in their college entrance tests like ACT and SAT. I excel in bringing up the standards of my students with my unique techniques in teaching which I perfected over the years. I am certified in all high school maths as you may check in WyzAnt website. I have utmost interest in your child's development in understanding math concepts and I'll make sure that he/she becomes confident in solving Algebra I problems and beyond.
I have been teaching Algebra 2 for last 17 years. I helped my twins successfully in their high school math. They are now graduate students at MIT. Algebra 2 includes quadratic functions, factoring, properties of complex numbers, logarithms and exponential functions, among others. It needs special understanding and concepts which I tailor properly to students of varying levels of Math understanding. I generally take an initial test to find out the current level of Math concept. I then bring him/her up from there. Students thrive in their learning. I help and encourage them to get better by providing them confidence in Math. I have had a number of students over the years, who improved their grades from low 40s to 80s and even, to 90s.
I have a PhD and I have been teaching High School Math, Physics and Chemistry for last 20 years. I taught at Glenwood High Schoola and at CVCC. I also taught at Middle GA State College and at CGTC - both in Macon. I have been helping students in their ASVAB Test preparations for 10 years now. I use my unique method to prepare them. ASVAB is a different test than ACT and SAT and know how to prepare them accordingly. Students generally flounder in Physics/Engineering section. I clear their concepts using the basics from their text books and then, move to answer ASVAB Test questions. Almost always, they do better and go on to pass (with 10 to 12 weeks of preparation) the TEST in his/her first try.
I have a PhD in Physical Chemistry. I have been teaching and tutoring in College Chemistry, Chemistry and in AP Chemistry as well as, in Physical Science for over 15 years. I taught Chemistry to both my twins They both made 5 in AP Chemistry College Board Test. They are now Graduate students at MIT. I taught Chemistry in College and also in High School. Chemistry has lots of concepts not to speak of the Math used in Chemistry. I understand the frustrations students face when they lack the proper background to succeed. I evaluate each and every student to check how much they know and what they need to improve. I use my proven techniques to help them get ahead in Chemistry. I regularly assign homework to my students. This tells me how we are doing. They have no escape. My students always do well with my help.
I have been teaching all math - from elementary to high school math for several years. My current K-6 students are progressing well in their learning as evident from their test scores. I evaluate every K-6 students and address their individual needs. They like my method of teaching and I get the best out of each. I am a certified elementary math tutor and I enjoy teaching elementary school students.
I have been teaching Geometry and Honors Geometry for over 15 years now. I am a certified Math tutor. I helped my twins to develop their concepts in Geometry when they were in middle and in high school. They are both now graduate students at MIT. Over the years and still now, I have been helping at a time, 4 or more of my students in Geometry. I talk to them and test them to find out what are their weaknesses. That helps me to help them better and improve their understanding. I know that each and every student learns in their own pace. I allow them to trust me for their Geometry and Math needs and they do well in their class exams as well as in SAT and ACT College Preparation Tests. I am certified for both.
I have been teaching organic, physical and inorganic chemistry for several years. I taught organic and biochemistry at CGTC in Macon, GA last Fall and taught Chemistry I & II at Middle GA State College in Spring of this year. I have a PhD in Chemistry. I have a PhD in Chemistry. I have been teaching Chemistry, Physics and Physical Science for over 15 years now. I do understand the difficulty of each of my students. I realize that, they are all different in their level of understanding. I evaluate every one of them during first 2 sessions and find out the area they are most struggling in by asking them questions and taking a diagnostic test. Once I find out where they are, I begin my instructions from there and improve their understanding. Most of the time, physical science students struggle with the Physics portion and with the Math portion associated with Chemistry. I particularly specialize in those areas. My proven method have been helping all my students all these years. I want to help all of them.
I have been tutoring Middle School Math for over 15 years now. I helped my twins when they went to Blackmon Road Middle and Columbus High School. They are both now seniors at MIT. I know what it takes for Middle School students to understand PreAlgebra and Geometry. Using my proven method, all my students improve their Math skills and do well in CRCT as well as in their class tests. I evaluate each and every student in first 2 sessions by talking to them and by using a diagnostic test. Once I find out the area they are struggling with, I help them understand those concepts and build their Math confidence from there. I have found over the years that Middle School students have real difficulty with fractions and word problems. And I really specialize on those areas.
I have been a certified Math tutor for 15 years. I know how to teach math to high school as well as, yo college students. All of my students start doing well in their classes in 2 to 3 months. I know the techniques to find out the level of understanding each of my students has. Once I know that, I build them up from there. I give them confidence by explaining the concepts and let them work out selected problems on their own. Their fear of Math (Algebra - I, II, III & IV, Geometry (Plane, Coordinate and Solid) and Trigonometry goes away and they become increasingly confident to solve problems on their own. My twins are now graduate students at MIT. I taught them all Maths particularly, Pre-calculus and Calculus in their junior and senior years of high school. I treat all of my students equally and I understand that, each individual students learn at his/her own pace. I believe in their individual abilities and bring out the best in each of them.
I have been helping in Reading for over 15 years now. I help ACT and SAT Reading and English sections for my high schoolers and Pre-SAT for the middle schoolers. All my students improve on their reading skills after few months into my training. In fact, I helped my son and daughter (just graduated from College) - the twins, and it improved a whole lot in their scores. Reading needs special techniques, concentration and comprehension. I build the culture for all these aspects in my students.
I have been helping students prepare for the SAT and ACT for last 20 years. In fact, I teach all the subjects in SAT and ACT. Doing well in Math on the SAT is the best way to increase the overall score. SAT has a Math section in which students cannot use calculators. I specialize in preparing them for that section with my proven methods. I have a high success rate in SAT and in ACT. In fact, I prepared my twins for SAT and they did very well. They graduated from MIT and are mow graduate students there.
I have been helping students prepare for all four sections of SAT for a long time. I am doing the same for my ACT students which includes in addition to Reading, Science paragraph reading and comprehension. ll of my SAT and ACT students are improving in all the sections - Reading, English, Math and Science. I helped my twins to get high scores in SAT (both made 2300+). They graduated from CHS in 2011. SAT and ACT are very different from class tests and exams and need specialized tutoring which I deliver. I know what it takes for students to avoid mistakes and to improve their SAT and ACT scores.
I have been tutoring for over 10 years now. I have a PhD degreee and I have taught in Glenwood High School and in Colleges. This year, I am getting my Teacher's Certification to teach in GA Public Schools. I have good track records. All of my students improve and do well on their tests. I am certified in Reading, SAT Reading, ACT Reading and I helped my twins in their high school years. Both of them are now seniors at MIT.
