Dr. D. is a great tutor. I have been out of the classroom for almost twenty years. I was very anxious and intimidated about the subject matter. He was very patient with me, and very encouraging. Dr. D. simplified everything for me, and taught me how to really understand Literature. He was very accessible, and responded very promptly any time I contacted him. I will highly recommend him to anyone needing assistance. I was very lost when I started the World Literature course, but after being tutored by Dr. D., my final grade was an A. His fees are very reasonable and worth even more. Thank you so much Dr. D. for your assistance, and thank you WyzAnt.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
My course begins with the basic elements of the theory and method of effective and responsible public address;then students are exposed to a variety of speech situations; relevant technology; analysis and criticism. Next, students are taught skills in composition and delivery of speeches to inform and persuade.
