math and science from a professional academic scientist
I have always loved learning, and I want to share that experience with my students. After spending 16 years as a professional scientist in the field of medicine, I have decided to focus on helping my children and other students with their academic quest. I can take the pain out of learning new things, share my enthusiasm and make school interesting. I will teach you the academic discipline skills that will help you achieve your goals. I can even help you figure out what you really want.

Wish I met Kerrie sooner! I fear math and exams no longer!
Having had several sessions with Kerrie has been great. Over this summer, I have been studying for the GRE (Graduate Record Exam) as part of my ongoing graduate school admissions process. Worried that my long held fear of math would overtake me, I began seeking the assistance of many different tutors and math programs. However, after contacting and working through the math and verbal reasoning sections of my GRE review book, I must say that working with Kerrie has made me more confident about my own abilities in math and verbal reasoning. Kerrie is patient, kind, and explains everything very clearly, but also knows what to do when beginning a GRE review lesson. Would definitely recommend her!

Great at providing strategies
We started with a basic review of some math concepts. She provided different, easy to understand strategies for the material. I was able to immediately take what I'd learn and use it for test practice.

Very good tutor!
We had our first session with Kerrie (online) and she did a very good job helping my 11th grade daughter with Algebra 2. She will also be helping her with Chemistry. My daughter really liked working with Kerrie and felt comfortable asking questions and had a better understanding of the material after their session.

Knowledgeable and Patient
Kerrie filled the teaching gap where reading the book was insufficient. Patient and challenged me gently to ensure I understood the concepts I was learning along the way.
