I am currently working on my Master's degree in Special Education. And I work in a team environment in an emotional and behavioral disorder classroom for the Cherokee County school system. Each day is a challenge, but it is a goal of mine to help each student gain the valuable knowledge that is taught to them each and every day.
In the classroom we teach math, science, reading, language arts, and social studies. There are only 9 students in the classroom so I get to work closely with each one, helping them solve problems and understand what is being taught. I myself have learned a great deal from working in this setting.
I will hopefully complete my certification exams before the end of the 2015 calendar year. I then hope to complete my masters degree by fall of 2016.
I have truly benefited from my experience in the classroom and the knowledge I've gained from my graduate school classes. Because of this and my love of working with children, I feel I can help any student learn. That is my dream and my goal.
I help teach students reading every day in the classroom. And I work with students everyday in the classroom with language arts instruction.
I love history and am constantly learning more of it everyday. Along with this I help teach social studies in a classroom environment everyday at work.
I have played and coached basketball and love to teach the fundamentals of the game so that children can gain valuable skills and become the best player they can be.
If students need help with subjects in school and would benefit from the help of a tutor then please contact me and let me help get them on track with their educational needs. I love helping students and will work hard for you. I am currently working on my Master's degree in Special Education. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I grew up loving and playing basketball. I was a starter at every grade level, including my varsity years in high school. I went to many ball camps growing up and consider myself very knowledgeable in the area of fundamentals. I have coached young children for several years and loved every minute of it.
I have a 4 year degree in Business Management and am getting my masters in Special Education. I currently work in a middle school in an emotional and behavioral disorder classroom. In this classroom I work with a lead teacher and another assistant and work with students on all subjects.
