I'm Rishabh! I am currently a fourth-year medical student studying to get my MD degree (graduating in May 2023). As a medical student, I have tons of experience working and communicating with all kinds of people (both adults and kids!) in clinics and hospitals. I enjoy the time I spend being able to make a difference in people's lives and hope to do the same with educating anyone that can use my help.
All throughout my journey, I have maintained high standards of excellence and outperformed many of my peers. I maintained a 4.0 in high school and college, earned summa cum laude honors during both graduations, and currently have a Bachelor of Science (majored in Cell and Molecular Biology). Some of my other achievements include scoring above the 90th percentile on all examinations I have taken so far in my journey (PSAT, SAT, ACT, MCAT, USMLE), with perfect scores often attained in some categories.
I have a year of tutoring experience with Kumon academy when I was a college student. I worked with kids from ages 3 - 18 years old, from simple subjects like counting and spelling to complex subjects like calculus and essay writing. This experience really helped develop my individualized communication skills and am apt at tutoring at a student's own pace/learning style. I was able to have discussions with parents regarding the child's progress and areas I thought could improve. This often entailed me developing lesson plans for parents to utilize outside of tutoring sessions too. Currently, I also prepare education material on a national scale for other medical students.
