I'm a former Early Childhood/Elementary School Educator with a BA in English, LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker), MSW (Master of Social Work), and MSCM (Master in Conflict Management). I have been an English and Reading Coach at a two-year college, and taught English as a second language to adults. I specialize in elementary school subjects, English, Pre-algebra, and Algebra.

I love to help children and students of all ages meet their educational goals. As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), I understand that the human need for a positive self-identity is tied to a sense of self-efficacy. I love helping people identify and enhance their own abilities to build self-efficacy. Every student leaves each tutoring session with an understanding of fundamental concepts, and a sense of empowerment and self-confidence.

I have tutored college students in Algebra. As an English and Reading Coach at a two year college, I also helped students with Algebra. I completed Calculus in undergraduate, and have taught elementary school and middle school math.

My undergrad degree from the University of Michigan is in English. I worked for over three years as an Educator, where I taught elementary school subjects. I taught students both at and below grade level Reading, English, and Writing.

I've earned two master's degrees in social sciences (Master of Science in Conflict Management and Master of Social Work). These programs required advanced writing skills, as they focused primarily on writing papers as an evaluation tool. I earned a 4.0 and a 3.76 GPA, respectively.

I currently work as a freelance writer, as well as provide articles for the medical clinic where I am employed as a Social Worker.

I worked as an English and Reading Coach at a two-year technical school where I helped students grasp grammar concepts and edit their own papers. I also taught English-as-a-second language to adults at a night school.
