I graduated this spring from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Biomedical Innovation and Development at Georgia Institute of Technology. I want to be a tutor so I can get tutoring experience, NOT to make money. This year many students have been forced into online learning and money is tight for everyone. I enjoy helping others and am here to develop myself and the students. I take pride in my work and I hope the students I work with will too. I want tutor in a way that helps students learn, not just get homework done.
While studying engineering during undergrad, I took courses in Calculus (I and II), Differential Equations, Multivariable Calculus, and Statistics. Received an A in undergrad anatomy class, completed cadaver dissections, and have physiology knowledge from my Biomedical Engineering education. I'm a student too, so I know how stressful school can be. I always seem to do better when I work with other people, so I think tutoring is a useful place to apply my knowledge. I think the best way to learn is through examples and by trying problems yourself. A tutor's role is to intervene when a student gets stuck and to explain concepts the student can apply later. I also want to give students other tools they can use on their own in the future. Please reach out to me with any questions you might have.
I do not give general lessons to teach topics. I'm not really qualified for that and I don't have time to prepare lessons from scratch. Please send specific problems you would like to work on from things like current assignments, old assignments, practice exams, previous exams, etc.
