I moved to Atlanta, GA about three years ago from Canada and got a job as a teacher assistant in a language immersion school called Globe Academy. My role consists of assisting the teacher but more importantly, interacting with students and helping them engage in the language. Over the summer I tutored one of my students to help with her Spanish and I truly enjoyed the one on one engagement.
Both my parents are from El Salvador, CA and made sure I learned to speak, write and understand Spanish. As a young girl I lived in El Salvador where I learned to speak fluently and continue to speak it at home and with my current students at the Globe Academy. I love the Spanish language and with my background, I am excited to teach other young students how to speak, write and read in Spanish.
I am very excited to meet you and teach you the wonderful language of Spanish. I promise I will keep you engaged and help you learn in a fun and interactive environment!
